I went home today at lunch, and added $220 to the bankroll over the course of 30 minutes. My hourly winrate over the course of the last 18K hands is $115. Heady stuff, if sustainable.
Had a date last night with a bartender I met awhile back; she’s fun and attractive, but (at 38) a little older than my ideal, and not what I’m looking for in terms of background. I need to get out of the bartender/waitress set and start dating women with more of a corporate vibe, etc. This one’s both a bit on the edge and a little too into me, so I think I need to cut it short before it goes any further…
Would love to get to the point where I could focus on poker for forty hours a week in lieu of my current job, so that I’d have sufficient downtime to devote to things like finding the ideal woman (instead of spending that “downtime” playing poker…)
